The Cardiff Devils fall to 5-2 defeat against a lightning quick Dundee Stars side.
Dundee started fast with a goal inside the opening two minutes. Egils Kalns fired home after he was assisted by Drydn Dow.
The Stars doubled their lead with a power play goal. Kevin Dufour the goal scorer with Anthony Beauregard the lone assister.
First Period: Dundee Stars 2-0 Cardiff Devils
Dundee added a third goal again on the power play. Matthew Carter found the back of the net with Jagger Dirk and Matt Marquardt getting the assists.
The Devils found some comeback in the second period with Gleason Fournier firing his team’s first of the night. Charles Linglet was awarded the assist.
Second Period: Dundee Stars 3-1 Cardiff Devils
Gleason Fournier got his and his team’s second goal through a power play. Matt Pope and Mike McNamee got the assists.
Anthony Beauregard gave the Dundee Stars a two-goal cushion one more after he found the back of the net from a Colton Kroeker pass.
Dundee added another goal before the final whistle. Matt Marquardt scored on the empty net with Colton Kroeker awarded another assist.
