The Cardiff Devils carry on the winning form with an impressive 6-4 victory over a hearted Fife Flyers side.
It was a quick start for the Devils as Stephen Dixon made the most of a powerplay. Assisted by Sean McMonagle and Joey Haddad.
Blair Riley came into the game in fine form and continued that with a good goal. Sean Bentivoglio and Sam Jardine had the assists.
First Period: Fife Flyers 0-2 Cardiff Devils
Fife had started the second period perfectly but the Devils and their well timed line changes helped Masi Marjamaki add a third for the Devils. He was set up by Matt Pope.
A three on one breakaway was exactly what was needed for the Flyers to get back in the game. Dylan Quaile the goal scorer with Kyle Just the man on the breakaway.
The Devils managed a breakaway of their own. Joey Haddad scored a beautiful goal after being set up by Blair Riley.
Second Period: Fife Flyers 1-4 Cardiff Devils
A minute into the third period and the Crowder brothers linked up expertly to pull one back for the Fife Flyers. Paul Crowder with the goal with Tim Crowder and Jordan Buesa on the assist.
Fife closed the distance to one with a well worked powerplay. Carlo Finucci got the final touch from a Scott Aarssen.
Not too long later and the game would be tied up at 4-4. Paul Crowder scored his second goal of the game with Kyle Just grabbing the assist.
Joey Haddad scored a fantastic goal to put the Devils back in front after he held onto the puck extremely well before taking the puck to the blue and hitting a very strong slapshot through Adam Morrison.
Joey Martin extended the Devils lead with an empty net goal. The assist was awarded to Josh Batch.
Third Period: Fife Flyers 4-6 Cardiff Devils

The Cardiff Devils will now look forward to taking on the Belfast Giants in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final.
