The Frolunda Indians secured their first win at home in Champions Hockey League in a comfortable victory against the Cardiff Devils.
The Frolunda Indians took the lead in the first 35 seconds. Patrcik Carlsson capitalised on a mistake between Matt Pope and Sean Bentivoglio.
Frolunda had even more chances to grab goals with the Devils taking two penalties in close succession but failed to make the most of them
First Period: Frolunda Indians 1-0 Cardiff Devils

Joel Lundqvist extended the Indians score early in the second period on the power play. Rhett Rakhshani and Ryan Lasch did exceptionally well to break down the penalty kill line of the Devils.
Joey Martin opened the Cardiff Devils account. Bryce Reddick fired a good slapshot at goal which was deflected by Sam Jardine into the path of Martin who fires into an almost empty net.
Ben Bowns denied Patrick Carlsson his second goal with an amazing save.

Karel Stolley did beat Ben Bowns however after his shot cannons in off the post. Assisted by Nicklas Lasu and Johan Mattson.
Samuel Fagamo pounces on a rebounded shot to score another goal for Frolunda. He was assisted by Simon Hjalmarsson and Ryan Lasch.
Second Period: Frolunda Indians 4-1 Cardiff Devils
Frolunda continued their ruthlessness as Jacob Peterson scored his first of the night after a superb assist from Theodor Lennstrom and Karl Stollery.
Joey Haddad added a second for the Devils on the power play. A fantastic shot through the legs of Johan Mattsson after being assisted by Matthew Myers and Joey Martin.
Frolunda took back the momentum of the game with a reply from Brandon Gormley who picked his corner with his shot and found it. Assists were awarded to Nicklas Lasu and Mats Rosseli-Olsen.
Joel Lundqvist scored again on the power play. He was left open thanks to a great assist from Ryan Lasch.
