Match Preview: Coventry Blaze vs Cardiff Devils

The Cardiff Devils continue their Challenge Cup campaign with another game against the Coventry Blaze, this time away from home.

Last time these two sides met was last Saturday. The game saw the introduction of Block 13 to the Viola Arena and the Devils pull out a 5-1 victory.

The two sides have already met twice with the both games finishing 5-1 but to both teams.

Since then, the Devils have found two victories in the league with a 3-2 win over the Sheffield Steelers and a 3-1 over the Manchester Storm.

Coventry Blaze have also been on the rights side of the scoreline against the Manchester Storm with a 6-3 victory although they did fall short in Challenge Cup action against the Guildford Flames losing 4-2.

The Devils currently top the group with 6 points from 8. The Blaze however have just the 2 points from 8.

Key Players

Coventry Blaze: Charles Corcoran, really creative for his team and has already accumulated 5 assists in the Challenge Cup.

Cardiff Devils: Joey Haddad, has been on fine form for the Devils in recent games with 10 points in all competitions.
